The year around versatility of the self-unloading Patriot belt trailer coupled with the practicality of its long-lasting and lightweight aluminum construction lends itself to years of service and greater payloads. Wilson's smooth aerodynamic sidewall design reduces wind drag, increases fuel economy, and makes the live bottom belt trailer easier to pull. The trailer stays clean longer, reducing maintenance and the associated costs.
Realize the Patriot's full hauling potential from season to season with such products as corn, potatoes, gluten, hay cubes, gravel and limestone – All unloaded in just a few minutes. The Patriot belt trailer is standard with the best features and it has all the available options necessary to make this trailer meet your hauling requirements.
The Patriot's smooth sidewall offers superior aerodynamics with increased fuel economy and a cleaner, better appearance. Promoting insulating properties not available on single wall trailers, products like corn gluten can be hauled in colder climates and less likely to freeze.
Multi-ply rubber flaps are attached to extruded and enclosed aluminum cross bar tubes and two lengths of chain. Flaps hang under the trailer to help them self-clean before completing the revolution back into the trailer.
On the inside of the trailer, the flaps lie flat under the load but develop large pockets to positively grip product. This helps to eliminate bridging the product as it moves out of the rear of the trailer.
The completely enclosed flat floor pan under the chain conveyor retains high moisture product and extends floor liner life.
The HMW liners of the Patriot used on the diagonal slopes sheets provide quick and smooth unloading of even the stickiest of products. An optional UHMW liner is available for abrasive products like gravel.
The standard UHMW free-floating floor liner under the chain is designed to expand and contract freely with ambient temperatures and extend the floor life.
The Patriot's 45-degree slopes allow a majority of products to be hauled and unloaded fast and clean.
Side vent ports, positioned between each set of side posts, extend the life of the sidewall by allowing the sides to breathe. The vent ports also serve as an inspection source.
Premium stainless De-Sta-Co latches help the door to maintain a tight seal plus support the lower corners of the rear door.
Adjustable Door Hinges
Adjustable door hinges help to align the rear door and maintain a good fit.
Roller/Receiver
The Roller/Receiver allows the door to align with the latches when the trailer is on uneven surfaces.Rear door steel components like hinges and latches are galvanized to resist corrosion.
A 23:1 planetary drive, driven by a hydraulic motor, powers the conveyor belt. Larger diameter drive sprockets with additional teeth engage the chain better and promote longer service of conveyor chain and drive components.
The full width aluminum dust shield protects brakes, wheels and suspension area from product and debris buildup.
The Patriot features an easy-enter ladder and grab handles both inside and outside of the trailer.
A hinged stainless door protects hydraulic conveyor controls and components from the elements.
The Patriot's tarp features a beneficial moisture barrier flap to help keep product dry.
This door works best for grains and like products. The rear door will swing to the side and allow bulky commodities to be unloaded and the slide up gate allows for product metering. This is the Patriot's standard door.
This door handles bulky product by swinging to the side and opening the whole rear of the trailer. The lower portion allows metered delivery of bruise sensitive commodities into a piler/receiver conveyor.
This door works best for the following commodities: potatoes, sugar beets, chopped hay, coal, cucumbers, onions, seed corn, bark & mulch, silage, haylage, ag lime, pickles, sweet corn, sawdust, insulage, household garbage and miscellaneous bulky products.
The hydraulic top hinge door is most useful for hauling dense commodities that do not require any metering or slowing by the door. This door will open up hydraulically to a horizontal position or as far as 90 degrees. This door is popular in sugar beet and gravel operations.
This door works best for sand and gravel, feedlot stuff, sugar beets, coal, manure, and topsoil.
The Spud Door features a flip up lower portion for unloading. The fold down upper piler door allows a piler to load into the trailer through the rear.
Conveniences include spring loaded slam latches, easy access ladders, and electric controls within the operator's easy reach.
Conveyors are available in 30", 36", 42", and 48" widths, each are designed to specifically unload whatever products you intend to haul.
Optional 57-degree slopes allow the operator to cleanly and efficiently unload the stickiest of products such as corn gluten, wet compost, and manure faster and with less interior cleaning than the standard 45-degree slope.
In addition to the one-piece sidewall, Wilson offers the vertical splice sidewalls on 48" centers for the Patriot model. Talk to your Authorized Wilson Sales Representative to specify on your order.
Polished stainless steel front panels are available as an attractive option.
Hydraulic hoses from the trailer to the tractor may be necessary option to add.
Several Patriot rear end options are designed to enhance the trailer's curb appeal and assist with unloading product like polished stainless steel rear door panel, product deflectors and tailfins.
Popular light options are interior lights, rear facing spotlights or decorative stainless flanges can be added.
The grain funnel option quickly attaches to the rear of the trailer to provide directed flow of product. The funnel then stores conveniently away under the belly of the trailer.
Aluminum side extensions provide temporary additional capacity for seasonal commodity demands.
Sideliner options include full height liners, 57-degree slopes, over-lapping sideliners, and for abrasive products like gravel, UHMW liners are available.
Weight restrictions and allowances vary greatly from state to state and from country to country; therefore making the selection of the correct suspension matched to the type of load all the more important. Wilson provides a variety of optional suspensions to make the most of gross weight limitations.
